Over 80 people, villagers past and present, attended an afternoon tea held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Penally Village Hall.
Old photos were on display, as well as village scrapbooks, small exhibitions by the Village Hall committee and hall users history group, WI, bridge club, bowls club and craft group. Visitors enjoyed a rolling digital photo display on the large screen.
The birthday cake was cut by Clive Law, current chairman of the Village Hall committee, and Nan Jones, a past president of the Village Hall committee and a former teacher at Penally school.
