Find Wellbeing in woodland this September with a unique opportunity from the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Health Project.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF), in collaboration with Coed Lleol, have launched a new set of Pembrokeshire Outdoor Health activity programmes for 2023.

The Woodland Discovery programme at Kingsmill, near Castlemartin provides participants with an opportunity to:

  • Indulge in bushcraft skills such as knife and axe use
  • learn spoon carving,
  • practise fire making
  • set up hammock & tarp
  • go foraging to discover what makes this particular woodland and its wildlife so special.

Woodland Discovery runs from September 12 to October 17, 2023.

The six-week programmes run across Pembrokeshire, facilitated by a diverse mix of skilled providers and practitioners to serve as ‘social prescribing’ opportunities for health and social care providers like GP surgeries and health support charities, as well as being accessible by self-referral.
