The Long Course Weekend returned to Tenby this evening (June 27) with the Wales Swim taking place on North Beach....

Road Closure information...

Pembrokeshire County Council has stated that the south of the county will see some road disruption anticipated during the event on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday sees thousands of cyclists take on a choice of 112 mile, 72 mile or 40 mile courses set in the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, starting from the Salterns at 7am.

Rounding up the weekend on Sunday is The Wales Marathon, The Wales Half Marathon, The Wales 10k and The Wales 5k all finishing with massive crowds back in Tenby. The event starts from the Salterns at 10am.

A number of roads around the wider Tenby area will be closed or closed one way by organisers during the Wales Sportive on Saturday, June 28.

The A40 and A477 are not closed for the event. The A478 Narberth to Kilgetty is also fully open.

There are also road closures planned around Tenby to Pembroke during the Wales Marathon on Sunday, June 29. These road closures are on a rolling programme between 9.30am and 4pm.
