Club Sailing
The club’s winter series got underway last Sunday morning. A brisk morning on the water saw four boats, three Ospreys and a Scorpion, contest the races, including Dan and Marc in their new Osprey.
In the first race, the honours went to the Scorpion of Peter/Igor, with the Ospreys of Jaime/Lucas second and Dan/Marc third.
In the second, Jaime/Lucas took the win from Peter/Igor, then Dan/Marc. Bringing up the rear were Dyfan/Steve sailing three up, with John gaining experience in his new ship.
Tata Regatta
The weekend of November 4/5 sees the annual Tata regatta at Port Talbot.
Several dinghies from the club are planning to attend; open to all; come racing on a pond!
Junior training
Advance notice of the junior Christmas party on Friday, December 1, 7 pm start.
Club Dinner and Prizegiving
Friday, November 17, at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby. Dinner, prizegiving, live band and dancing. Tickets £25 per head. See website for menu and get your choices with payment to the Commodore as soon as possible and certainly before the end of this month.
Opening hours
The club is open lunch times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and evenings on Friday and Saturday from 5.30. Pop in to enjoy a drink in the best location in town!
