Tenby AFC held its junior presentation night recently at the De Valance Pavilion and would like to thank the Tenby Town Council for allowing them to do so and to Cath Graham, Clr. Chris Brown and Linda Hensman for all their help in preparing the evening.

Luke Lawrence was the MC for the evening and he opened the proceedings by firstly thanking Andrew Price, the club's main sponsor, whose financial support over the years has made Tenby AFC the success it is today. He went on to thank all the individual team kit sponsors, the ground advertising board sponsors and the many business and individuals that have contributed to the club this year. He also thanked the Tenby Observer who allows the club the space each week to report on all the matches. Thank you all.

Luke commented that it has been another good season; the Under 14s won their Cup, while the Under 12s were runners-up in theirs. The Under 13s and 15s were both runners-up in their respective leagues. Several mini teams went unbeaten throughout the season and the Under 10s won the Tenby Round Table 7s and the St. Clears Fun Festive. At senior level, the 1st team finished a very creditable sixth and the 2nd team was runners-up in the 3rd Division Cup. The Youth team finished third in the league in its inaugural year and reached the semi-final of the West Wales Youth Cup.

All this success is mainly due to the excellent coaching staff that the club has, which was responded with a loud round of applause. Obviously, they can't do it without the commitment and dedication of all the players and the assistance and loyalty from the parents. Thank you all for making it a truly exceptional year once again.

Luke then introduced the Tenby AFC secretary Dene Hurlow who, on behalf of Tenby Town Council, is honouring another Tenby AFC player in recognition of his outstanding achievement in the sport of football. This year it was Under 15s player Tom Dyson who signed for Swansea City in the latter stages of the season. Dene presented Tom with a Tenby Town Council framed certificate.

Luke then had the pleasure of introducing the club's main sponsor, Andrew Price, and Peter Roberts, senior coach of Tenby AFC, to present the awards.
