Congratulations to Hari and Billy Truman on their recent sporting successes.

After several consecutive weekends trialling in Cardiff, Hari has been selected in the Welsh netball U17, U19/21 squads and gained a place in the Welsh Junior Dragons team.

The latter is an U19 team that represents Wales in the National Talent League which plays fixtures all over England.

Hari's first match is during the weekend of November 16 and 17 in an NTL Tournament in Hull. An exceptional achievement at 15.

Billy, her younger brother, recently spent a weekend at the Celtic Manor Golf Resort. He had to perform various skills on the Saturday and from the results of these tests was selected to play the Montgomery course the next day. This culminated in his selection into the South Wales Junior Golf Academy.

Billy wishes to thank Oliver Duckett, Trefloyne pro, and Rhys Harry, Tenby pro, for their support and continued excellent guidance.

Both attend Sir Thomas Picton School, Hari in Year 11, and Billy in Year 9.
