With the Christmas break well and truly over, the final stretch of the season has begun and Narberth started it in fine style as they beat former champions Monkton Swifts at home.

The Bluebirds soared above the Swifts all afternoon as they came out 2-0 winners in a tough battle in equally tough conditions.

Jordan Williams was the star of the show for the home side as his brace ensured the points, with victory moving them up to fourth place in the league.

Both goals came in the second half, with Williams putting the game beyond doubt in the dying minutes of the match.

Saundersfoot Sports would have been hoping for a better start to the year, but they went home from Merlins Bridge licking their wounds after a 5-0 thrashing at the home of the Wizards.

Having beaten them earlier in the season, the Sports would have been confident of an away win, but with a new manager at the helm, the home side were in no mood to be generous hosts.

St. Ishmaels v Tenby was postponed.

St. Clears were another team to start the New Year in style as they trounced Kilgetty 6-1.

Mike Beynon scored for the visitors, although a brilliant hat-trick by Sean Seymour Davies and goals from Ynyr James, Nathan Evans and Owain Evans meant there was only one winner on the day.

Narberth seconds travelled to Camrose and came out as 4-3 winners against the home side.

Mike Jolly, Josh Layzell and a couple of goals from Tony Evans guaranteed the win, which was their ninth of the season.

Manorbier United were due to play Merlins Bridge seconds, but their game was postponed.

Tenby seconds entertained Lawrenny in a south county derby and took the spoils thanks to Darryl Mansbridge's two goals to guarantee them their ninth win of the season.

Pendine's season has been curtailed more than any by the weather and a lack of match fitness told in their division four cup tie against Saundersfoot Sports. The Gulls held the Seasiders 2-2 after full-time, with Glen Easton scoring twice, but the visitors finally edged home as 4-2 winners in extra-time as James Criddle, Joe Farrell, Gareth Hunt and Ross Gray scored their goals.

Carew seconds travelled away to Milford Athletic and came away with nothing to show except two goals as the home side won 4-2. Sion Jenkins and Nick Davies scored for the visitors, but the result keeps them rooted to the foot of the table. There is hope, however, of avoiding the drop to division five as the three teams above them are all within touching distance and just four points separate the bottom six sides.

St. Florence were involved in a real hum-dinger of game at Prendergast Villa and just managed to edge out the home side 4-3. A brilliant hat-trick by James Whitehouse and a goal by George Wilkins was all that separated the teams that allowed the Saints to win their seventh game of the season.

Kilgetty seconds entertained Manorbier United's reserves and lost 6-0 despite having home advantage. James Hall, Mike Ryder and Neil Lane all had cause for celebration as they all scored twice in a one-sided game.

St. Clears' seconds also lost as they went down 3-0 at Lawrenny.
