A number of games were washed-out yet again in Pembrokeshire as a week of rain on saturated grounds proved too much to handle for some teams and their groundsmen.
In what must surely be one of the wettest first halves of a season for many years, 10 games were called off before the referee could blow his whistle. With the league programme this weekend already containing some re-arranged cup fixtures, the postponements will be giving league secretary, Brian Hawkins, more headaches as he has to re-jiggle next week's matches. His position in the league hierarchy may be one of honour, but at times like these, it surely isn't an enviable one. That said, after the past few seasons, he is well versed at dealing with these things.
Narberth's Jesse Road pitch often falls foul of the weather, yet the Bluebirds were able to take the field as they played in the Senior Cup and progressed serenely into the next round following a 7-0 win over fellow division one side, Solva.
The visitors had no answer to the home team's attacking style of play as they rediscovered some of their early season form with a well-crafted win.
Jordan Richards was the star of the show for the home team as he fired in two goals, before Richie Adams, Morgan Preece, Jordan Williams and Keiron Lewis all scored, with Solva's misery compounded by scoring an own goal to add to the tally late on.
St. Clears are out as they went down 6-3 at home to Monkton Swifts.
Losing against the Swifts is no disgrace, however, as they ply their trade a division higher than the home team and to score three goals against them is a fine effort.
Owain Evans, Dorian Davies and Sean-Seymour Davies were the men to slot the ball home for the Saints.
Biggest cup upset of the day was down at. St Ishmaels where the home side were beaten by division three's Lawrenny.
Few would have given the visitors a chance of a win down there, but Dean Morris's solitary strike was enough to separate the sides and send the former cup finalists packing.
In league action, Saundersfoot's game at Goodwick and Tenby's home match against Merlins Bridge were postponed.
Kilgetty travelled to Letterston in what could have been a tricky encounter, yet they powered home to win 3-0.
Carew's miserable season continued as they lost their sixth game of the season following a 5-1 defeat to Goodwick United's seconds. Adam Hughes scored the only goal for the home side in yet another defeat.
Narberth seconds were at Broad Haven and demolished the home team 5-1 as Callum O'Connell scored twice and Ryan Williams a hat-trick in a one-sided win.
No such results for Kilgetty seconds and St. Clears' seconds, however, as their games were postponed.
Tenby seconds travelled to Fishguard Sports and came away with a 2-1 win, while Manorbier United produced one of their best performances of the season to win 4-2 against Camrose.
Jake Webster was the catalyst for the home team's fifth win of the season as he finished with a hat-trick, with Dave Blackwell slotting in the other.
Saundersfoot Sports' seconds were at Hundleton, but came away with nothing after a 4-0 defeat, while Carew Seconds and Pendine also failed to score as they conceded five and eight goals, respectively, at Milford United and Pennar seconds.
Worst defeat of the day was at St. Florence, however, as the home side were trounced 10-1 by Neyland seconds.
Meanwhile, Manorbier United seconds made it a good day for the club as they won 4-3 at Llangwm. Rob Sawyer scored twice for the visitors, with Mike Ryder and Joey McKeown adding the others.
