COFFEE MORNING

Saundersfoot Bowling Club held a successful coffee morning last Saturday which realised £300 for club funds.

Thanks must go to the hard-working ladies of the club who had made Welsh cakes, sumptuous luxury items for the cake stall, donated raffle prizes and prizes for the tombola stall, as well as serving tea and coffee with Welsh cakes throughout the morning.

The event was again well-attended by members and friends and also the Steps2Health walkers who arrived a little earlier than usual due to the heavy rain that appeared mid-morning.

Chairman Paul Blayney thanked all who had supported the event and wished everyone a happy Easter.

WORKING PARTY

A working party is being arranged for next Thursday, March 28, at 10 am, to get everything ready for the club opening day on Saturday, April 6.

The gentlemen members are requested to make an effort to attend. It should only be a couple of hours to undertake all the tasks and, as the saying goes, 'many hands make light work'!
