Sunday lunch

The ladies of Saundersfoot Bowling Club came up trumps again last Sunday when they prepared and served a two-course meal consisting of a beef roast dinner followed by home-made apple crumble, for a packed room of members and friends.

President Ann Lewis thanked the officers of the club, chairman Paul Blayney, vice-chairlady Kath Blayney, secretary Ceris Hewlings, treasurer George Cavell and also Diane Rigden, Sue Roden and Angela Roberts for their hard work in not only ensuring that everyone enjoyed the occasion, but that much needed funds were raised.

Next month, on February 3, there is a lunch organised by junior vice-president Ceris and the ladies of the club to raise funds for the West Wales Ladies Bowling Association and there will also be another Sunday lunch in March for club funds.

Management committee

The first meeting of the new management committee will be on Tuesday, January 15, at 6 pm.
