Members of West Wales Wadoryu Karate Association (Pembroke Dock and Carew) held a very successful Karate training course and Kumite (fighting) competition on Sunday at Pembroke Dock Karate Club.

The course was under the instruction of Sensei Graham Thomas (6th Dan), Martin Morgan (4th Dan), Tony D'Arcy, Keith Roberts and Ryan Edwards (2nd Dan).

Table officials were Nina Whiting and Tania Waterman.

Competition results were as follows:

Kumite (fighting) and Bag Smash (kick, punch, strike,) competition - 1. Charlotte Kinsella Kyle Day, Toby Trayhern, Shannon McKay, Tenisha Unwin-Riley, Ryan McAree, Ben Whiting, Kirsty McKeand, Tom Blunsden; 2. Erin Boswell, Thomas Cabot, William Patton, Ella Lewis, Jazmine Rees, Liam Cressey, Curtis Jennings, Samantha Bowen, Samantha Cressey; 3. Mason McKay, Ben Callan, Mair Tyre, Charlie Waterman, Kyle Jennings, Adam Cressey, John Cressey.

Next event for West Wales Wadoryu will be the Summer Camp Course, Black Belt Grading and Competitions on July 5, 6 and 7.
