The second week of the summer sessions took place on the weekend at Trefloyne Manor Golf Club, with academy coach Ryan Townsend.

The junior academy focused on pitching and distance control with the pitching wedge.

Best out the lot for the boys was Leo McAlister who won ‘Golfer of the Week’ as he hit some great shot and showed very good signs of improving.

For the girls, ‘Golfer of the Week’ went to Poppy, who played some excellent pitch shots and a good few holes.

‘Golfer of the Academy’ for the week went to Craig from the first team group, who scored the most points of the day!

The next junior academy session is on Saturday, August 19, with the boys from 10-11 am, and the girls from 11-12 noon.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to get active and learn a great sport, with the first session free as a taster session for you.

Any ability, from the first time to picking up a club to an expert, are welcome, from ages from four to 17, split into age appropriate groups.
