A magazine article featuring Tenby Golf Club has been ‘flagged’ up for praise by a local councillor.

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Dr. Peter Easy produced a summer edition of ‘The Oldie’ magazine, featuring an article on the best golf courses in Wales.

“The ‘Play before the links go missing’ article featuring Tenby Golf Club, was very complimentary and featured a photograph taken on the ninth hole showing the tremendous sea view too,” he told his colleagues.

Writing for the magazine, Adam Ruck said ‘is there a course in the world with more blind shots and black and white aiming posts?’ before confessing to drying off over a ‘pie and pint’ at the club and watching the youth section practising.
