Tenby Under 11s took part in the Prendergast Tournament on Saturday, held at Haverfordwest Rugby Club.

Drawn in a very tough group, Tenby knew they would have to perform well to proceed any further in the competition. Short games of 10 minutes each way made the challenge even harder.

During the group stages, they won three games, but then went on to draw three others, leaving them third in the group behind Camrose and Carmarthen Town, who went on to win the final.

It was disappointing, as despite not losing a game, they did not proceed any further in the competition.

Some great football was played on the day, but 10 minutes was just not long enough on this occasion.

Better luck in the next tournament in Tenby where they will be competing in the Under 12s.

New training tops for Under 7s

Tenby Under 7s would like to thank Matthew Ronowitz, of The Qube, Tenby, for proudly sponsoring this season’s training tops. The Under 7s have enjoyed a very successful first season, with every player being a real credit to the team.
