Sauterelle Trampoline Club had another great day following on from their very successful last grading, this time at Monmouth Leisure Centre on March 1.

This competition is open to clubs from all over Wales and the Sauterelle children did themselves proud with their haul of trophies and medals.

Winners of their individual age and ability groups were Nia Haf Conlon, Under 13 Regional 1, in her first event, Sharna James, Under 19 Regional 2, Oliver Thomas, Under 13 Regional 3, and Emily Warwick, 13+ NDP 3.

The club then followed this up with Bethan Curtis in second place 13+ NDP 3. Both these girls achieved excellent scores, meaning they will go on to represent Wales later on in the year.

Nel Allen, in Under 11 Regional 3, performed well with a new routine, to take third place, while Amy Compton also did very well indeed to gain third place, in one of the largest groups of the day, the 13+ NDP 1.

In the synchronised section, Bethan Curtis and Emily Warwick won the 15+ NDP 3 event, and Jodie Wakelin and Amy Compton won the 15+ NDP 1 event, scoring an amazing 9.9 for their routine, while Nel and Seren Allen took second place in the Under 15 Regional 3 event.

Highest club score of the day was Emily Warwick 47.9.

The club coaches were very pleased with the excellent results of the day, as the other children entered also achieved very good scores and placings, some with very new routines.
