WI President Kath Breen attended the occasion to the delight of the Ladies Cricket team; and after the event, the Cricket Club Chairman bought drinks for the WI Ladies, who attended.
In attendance was Cricket Club president Colin Williams, chairman Mickey Marsh, secretary Rose Jenkins, groundsman Graham Jenkins, ladies captain Chloe Bland, and ladies team members - Melanie James, Daisy and Ella Bland, Ceri Jones, Cara, Kirsty and Libby Evans, Simone Richards and Katie MacCreath.
“Kilgetty Cricket Club is incredibly grateful to the WI for their donation and are in the process of purchasing specially printed team shirts and also equipment to help them exercise, socialise, and develop skills, to enable them to grow with confidence,” said secretary Rose.
“What a wonderful opportunity to be given – thank you WI.”
