There was plenty of action in the Pembroke County Junior League (sponsored by Llewelyn Davies & Co Chartered Accountants) midweek with Under 11s, 13 and 15s sides all playing.

Under 15s league results as follows: Kilgetty 103-7 Cresselly 79-8; Cresselly 40-10 Hook 42-0.

In the Under 13s semi-finals - St Ishmaels 39-2 Llechryd 38 all out.

It was also semi-final evening in Cresselly, with the North (11s) taking on the South (10s) at Cresselly.

It was a slightly awkward situation as these players are friends, all train together and are together in one team but over the season have competed in separate leagues to ensure as many players playing as possible.

North skipper Cody won the toss alongside South skipper Imogen and decided to bowl. It must be said the wicket was damp and huge credit goes to Richard Arthur for getting the game on.

The south batted very well and there were some useful contributions from Freddie 13 Imogen 10 Iwan 8 and Caden 7 and the North bowled well with Walter 1-8, Arthur 1-11 and Rhys 1-8. South finished in a very impressive 264.

In reply, the North batted tidily against some very good bowling from the South. Caden 1-22 and Freddie 1-16 were the wicket takers but Alfie M hit a flurry of boundaries in his 34 and Cody 18 along with Rhys 11, helped the North to 313.

Overall, coaches Stef Owen and Martin Jones could not have been prouder of the performances from the teams - it was great to see both sides competing so well against each other. It finished Cresselly (North) 313-2 Cresselly (South) 264-4. Well done to everyone!
