NARBERTH secured their second Division One win of their Thomas Carroll Pembrokeshire League campaign on Saturday inspired by fine bowling performances.

Put into bat, visitors Haverfordwest were bowled out for 109 with Dan Field top scoring on 39. For Narberth, Ben Quartermaine took three wickets for 40 runs, Ben Hughes 2-16, Richard Howell 2-17, and Matthew Johns 2-16.

Narberth’s reply was impressive in getting the job done in just 16 overs, Kyle Quartermaine with an unbeaten 46, supported by Jamie McCormack on 19 and Jordan Howell 18no.

Saundersfoot were put to the sword by visitors Cresselly whose 20-point win moved them to within a point of early pacesetters Neyland.

Cresselly were put into bat and put in a splendid shift to get to 271-4 in their allocated over led by Scott Arthur with a fantastic 112, ably supported by Phil Williams with 56 and Alex Bailey 43no..

Saundersfoot’s reply fell well short, all out for 69 in 21.2 overs. with impressive bowling by Tom Arthur 4-5, Ollie Arthur 2-20 and Charlie Arthur 2-0.
