Sixth-formers at Greenhill School in Tenby have been debating how to spend an imaginary £7 million budget in Pembrokeshire.
Presented with a range of different county projects, the pupils were asked to discuss and agree on how the money would be best used.
The exercise was part of 'Your Council, Your Call', an event based on managing a local authority like Pembrokeshire County Council.
Pupils were split into 'management boards' and at the end of the day, the groups presented their budgets to each other.
The winning team was Group 7, whose proposals included low income housing, a 'neighbour in action' week, respite care centre and maintaining Blue Flag beaches.
They were congratulated by Clr. Huw George, cabinet member for children, young people, learning and the Welsh language.
"There were some outstanding presentations and excellent delivery from the chief executives and their management boards," he said.
