Last week, Saundersfoot Rotarian Jean Watson, organiser of the District 1150 Young Writer competition, presented Nyah Lowe with her participation certificate for taking part in Rotary International's Young Writer competition.

Jean also presented Nyah with a cheque from the Rotary Club of Saundersfoot for winning the club competition.

Nyah is a pupil at Castle School, Cresselly, and Jean thanked her for the excellent quality of her submission before reading out the comments of the competition judges, which were very complimentary.

The standard of all submissions had been very high and the judges had considerable difficulty in deciding on the winning entry.
