Llangwm kicked off with the wind in their favour on a very small pitch, which was always going to spoil Narberth's open style of rugby. In fairness to the Narberth pack, they kept their discipline really well in the first half, considering Llangwm opted for uncontested scrums from the start. Narberth led 17-0 at the interval after tries by second row Tom Parsells, open-side flanker Rion Whatmore and captain Paul Brown, who stood in for injured prop John Edwards. Fullback Tom Richards converted one of the tries. In the second half, the young Otters built up the lead with more tries from number eight Richard Sharp-Williams, youngster Rhydian Bell on the wing, Jack Parsells and centre Rory Bennett. Scrum- half Aron Keane slotted the only conversion of the half. Llangwm's only try was scored by their outside centre, who shone throughout the match.
