The achievements of a group of talented young Pembrokeshire footballers have been recognised.
The eight lads - aged between nine and 12 - have all signed contracts with Championship club, Swansea City.
Wearing their black Swansea tracksuits, the boys and their parents were the guests at a recent reception in their honour given by the chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. Anne Hughes, in County Hall, Haverfordwest.
She told them that they should feel proud of what they had done and that she was impressed with the commitment they had all shown to date.
She also paid tribute to their parents as the boys not only have fixtures to fulfil every Saturday throughout the season, but they also have to travel to Swansea for training at least twice a week.
