Pembrokeshire County Primary Schools Football Association recently held their presentation at Heatherton Country Park, thanks to the generosity of Mr. Charles Davies.
After spending an enjoyable time going round the activities, the highlight of the evening was the arrival of Swansea and Wales young star, Joe Allen.
Joe, himself, was once a member of a successful Pembrokeshire Under 11s side and he was delighted to give out certificates and mementos to over 30 boys who had played in the competition.
Once again, the boys were proud winners of the Southern League and played very well to reach the semi-finals of the Welsh Schools competition held at Haverfordwest County AFC in April.
The squad were also presented with county schools beanie hats.
County coaches Angie Nicholls and Mark Hicks congratulated all the boys on their achievement.
They also thanked goalkeeper coach Bernard Steer, their kit sponsors Wimpy, Haverfordwest, West Coast, Haverfordwest, Heatherton, and the parents for their support over the season.
A special thank you went to Joe for taking the time to present the awards and pose for numerous photographs and sign autographs.
