Llanelli Scarlets U16s 12 pts. Cardiff Blues North U16s 24

Despite a rousing second half performance, the Scarlets were unable to turn the tide and the Cardiff Blues North won this match at the Lewis Llolyd Ground, Narberth by a margin of 12 points. Winger Owen Williams and prop Owen Davies scored unconverted tries for the Blues in the first half. The Scarlets came back after the break to get some points on the board as flanker Sam Barry (Haverfordwest) scored an unconverted try and replacement number 10 Scott Charlton (Burry Port) crossed for a try, converted by fullback James Russell (Cardigan). However, the Blues scored further tries by outside- half Joseff Griffin and replacement number eight David Barry, both of which were converted by fullback Harley Thompson. The Scarlets' under 16 team will play a number of games at Narberth this season and the next fixture will be a friendly against the Canada under 17 team on Wednesday, November 21.
