Manorbier based children's club, FM, organised a cookery workshop to bake yummy cakes and pizzas with a Red Nose theme. Ros Beck, of Four Cooks Catering, organised the afternoon. "Encouraging children to get involved with a cooking party creates a different challenge to the cooking I normally do for weddings and dinner parties," she said. "A red nose theme made it even more fun. The children concentrated so hard - even the boys - and we managed to produce a feast to sell." "We wanted to think local and think fair trading" added one of the FM team, Kizzie Tooby, aged 11. "Mrs. Millgate, our vicar's wife, sells Traidcraft produce which we bought. We also used goods from our local shop and post office, Manorbier Stores." An after-school cook-in gave enough produce to sell outside Manorbier Post Office and Stores, to the delight of locals, as it meant that it saved them from cooking. A total of £42 has been made for Comic Relief so far, as well as having a lot of fun!
