HOT Hand Productions are looking for enthusiastic young people to help in front and behind the camera during filming of their new film 'Shoppers'.
'Shoppers' is scheduled to be filmed in and around Pembrokeshire in late July.
The film reveals the harsh consequences of shoplifting to school children and the idea came from young ex-shoplifters and Pembrokeshire youth organisations such as Jigsaw Children and Youth partnership and the Youth Gateway.
Both Jigsaw and Youth Gateway have teamed up with Hot Hand productions, Dyfed-Powys Police and Pembrokeshire County Council to produce a stylish but hard hitting drama that will make children think twice before entering a shop in order to steal goods.
The end product will be taken around schools by young ex-shoplifters and police officers to present to pupils the reality of shop theft and consequences of conviction. 'Shoppers' will also feature on a web-site allowing schools nationwide to access the film and other information related to shoplifting.
