Narberth Museum has recently launched a 'Young Friends' group to encourage children and young people to support, get involved and share their opinions and ideas.
Pauline Griffiths, curator, says: "We pride ourselves on having a hugely successful and ever-supportive 'Friends' group and are keen to hear what younger people have to say. Their opinions matter to us and we aim to provide a platform for 'Young Friends' to express themselves and make a difference to both the museum and the wider community.'
As well as having the opportunity to voice their opinions, 'Friends' members will also have 50 pence off any holiday activities and will receive two magazines per year filled with museum news, puzzles, recipes etc., many of which are contributed by the members themselves. The first issue is also currently on sale to non-members in the museum shop.
Membership to Narberth Museum's 'Young Friends' group is just £2 per year for children and young people up to 16 years.
