A young local cricketer has received a financial boost from Tenby Town Council. Nine-year-old Jack Murphy, of Serpentine Road, Tenby, has just been selected to play for Wales Under 11s cricket team. The budding Robert Croft, who attends Tenby Junior School, received further good news on Tuesday evening when local councillors agreed to donate £100 to help with his sporting prospects. "It's always excellent to see a young local lad representing Wales at any level in the sporting world," said Clr. Mike Evans.
