The Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland held their Annual Young Chef competition at Ysgol Dyffryn Taf this week.

Four finalists prepared a three-course meal for two.

The adjudicators were two ex-Rotarians who are both qualified catering lecturers, Bill Collins and Bruce Guy.

They commented on the high standard achieved by all the competitors and said that they had a hard job as all the competitors achieved high marks.

Winner was Hayley Marks, followed a close second by Rebecca Evans. The competition was sponsored by Narberth butcher Andrew Rees, who presented prizes to the entrants.
