THIS year's Pembroke Festival in September has launched an all-Wales appeal for bands to take part in a 'Battle of the Bands' competition mid-week of the festival, Thursday, September 8, in the town's Paddles Nightclub. Prizes include a day's recording at the famous Winterton Studios in New Hedges, a live gig on Radio Pembrokeshire as well as opening the session at the festival's final day in 'Commotion on the Commons' on Saturday, September 10.
