Now that the time for summer holidays and visitors has arrived, so the yoga season has drawn to a close. To mark the occasion, an end of season meal was enjoyed by students from the Monday afternoon and Wednesday evening classes at the Kookab'a restaurant in Saundersfoot.

The months have flown past, with good attendances in both classes. The only disappointment was having to close for a while when a new floor was being installed in the village hall. This also meant that the annual Yoga Day with its varied programme of teachers, talks and therapies, had to be postponed until May.

The hall for this popular event has already been booked for next year, March 24, 2012, and all are keeping fingers and legs crossed that it will not have to be cancelled again for any reason.

Before then, of course, there is the Christmas Lunch, which is usually very well attended.

Classes will resume during the second week of September and the registers are already filling up. There are still places available for those who have done yoga before, and also for beginners. Pre-registration is necessary due to space limitation. Eileen Williams is the tutor.

New Hedges yoga participants wish all yoga students in the area a very happy summer break, and a harmonious forthcoming season in an auspicious year.
