In common with the rest of the UK, last year was Tenby's wettest, at least since Dicky Putwain (sadly no longer with us) took over as Met Office observer in 1996.
The new weather team of Olly, Diane, Janet and Dicky's wife Trisha recorded 1,351.2mm of rain, beating 1998 (1,335.6mm) and 2009 (1,335.5mm).
It was also our wettest December, with 225.5mm of rain, easily outstripping 1999's 183.7mm.
Our driest months last year were March (26.8mm) and September (39.8mm).
On a brighter note, December was quite a mild month. Temperatures inside the screen dipped below zero on only five days, with the lowest being -2.4 degrees Celsius on the 6th. The highest temperature was 12.5 degrees on the 22nd.
Finally, you may be surprised to hear that we did clock up 49.3 hours of sunshine in the course of the month!
