The Rt. Rev. Wyn Evans, Bishop of St. David's is to chair the cross-party Yes for Wales campaign in Pembrokeshire.

The Pembrokeshire group, which is part of the national Yes for Wales campaign, has been formed by people from across the county working for a Yes vote in the referendum on Assembly powers to be held on March 3.

Rt. Rev. Wyn Evans said "This is an opportunity for the people of Wales to vote for a fairer, more transparent way of making laws. I urge the people of Pembrokeshire to exercise their democratic duty to ensure that the National Assembly can develop a system of government that will improve the lives of all the people of Wales."

The Pembrokeshire Yes for Wales - Ie dros Gymru Sir Benfro campaign will formally be launched on February 3, 7.30 pm, at the Picton Centre, Haverfordwest, and all Pembrokeshire voters are invited to attend.

The Bishop of St. David's stated: "This is a campaign about people. The key to success is having volunteers in every part of the county supporting the Yes vote and I ask you to step up to the challenge by volunteering to help."
