Sir, On reading the comments made at the latest council meeting regarding the abuse of provided bags, I was disappointed that no one seems to accept the real cause of the problem. Several months ago a new bag was introduced in all dispensers; it is almost impossible to pull one bag out at a time. This results in people pulling out a wad of bags. Bringing back the previous type of bag will go a long way to cure the problem of empty dispensers. I accept that people should have their own bags, but not all do, and the council must realise that withdrawing this facility will result in a far bigger dog mess problem than we have at present.
