The winning entries of this year's Tenby Arts Festival Writing Competition will be announced at a words and music event to be held at 4 pm tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon at the Caffe Vista, Tenby.

Attendance is free and all are welcome. Gillian Clarke, National Poet of Wales, is poetry judge and Sally Spedding, acclaimed crime novelist, judge of the short stories entered.

The winning entries are to be read at the event which will also include live music. Standards have been especially high for this third year of the competition. S

ally Spedding says of the short stories "wonderful stories... impressive, and I was engrossed," while the poetry entered is equally compelling.

The competition is an event which places Tenby at the forefront of literary activity in Wales.
