World-renowned hairdresser Patrick Cameron is heading west to inspire students and salon owners in Pembrokeshire. He'll be putting on the style at a special event to showcase his new Club Noir collection.

Patrick is a source of inspiration for stylists across the globe, thanks to his creation of innovative looks backed by modern technology, and is acclaimed as the expert in the styling of long hair.

And this new collection 'takes in the feeling of what is happening on the fashion runways and red carpet events around the world', he said this week.

Patrick will be sharing some of his techniques from backcombing to dry finger waving, and some simple step-by-step ideas which can be adapted to local salons.

He added: "Club Noir is all about balance, strong outlines and flattering femininity, so a kind of mixture between commercial metropolitan chic and haute couture.

"I hear that Pembrokeshire is very beautiful, so I am looking forward to the drive from London."

The event is being organised by Haverfordwest-based HB Training to mark its third anniversary.

The company was set-up by Jackie Bugler, Coral Howlin and Caroline Howe, who are experienced practitioners in education and training.

The team at HB provide apprenticeships, be spoke courses and training in hairdressing, beauty, nails, customer service and complementary therapies to accredited standards and approved by HABIA and City and Guilds.

The evening will also feature the company's inaugural awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of its students.

Said Jackie: "We feel that bringing Patrick to Pembrokeshire represents everything we're about as a company - being innovative, pushing boundaries and offering the best in quality training. And Patrick is an exemplar in this."

Tickets for the show, which takes place at the Wolfscastle Country Hotel on September 5, are £45 and are available via http://www.hbtraining.org">www.hbtraining.org, Facebook or Twitter or by telephoning 01437 765597.
