PLANED and Chwarae Teg are offering a series of free workshops for women throughout Pembrokeshire which will offer the opportunity of an idea becoming a reality. The workshops are intended to encourage women who often have excellent ideas for self-employment to progress these ideas in an informal way. Many women do not for a range of reasons know how or where to take ideas forward and it is felt that by organising an occasion for discussion and networking fewer opportunities for business will be lost. The steps towards starting a business are progressed at each of the days with the third workshop dealing with topics such as writing a business plan. Registered childcare and dependant care costs can be reimbursed and lunch is provided free of charge. The workshops have been arranged for October 21 - 'Exploring Ideas - Opportunity Knocks' and November 4 - 'Thinking Local'. Both these sessions are being held at PTP Quality Training Offices, Merins Bridge, Haverfordwest On November 11, 'Exploring Enterprise', will be held at PAVS Offices, Haverfordwest.
