The second phase of a popular housing development in Pembroke has been launched.
Persimmon Homes West Wales has announced the next stage of its Martello Park scheme off Buttermilk Lane.
The first phase of 39 properties has now sold out, prompting the builder to release a second phase of 102 homes.
The new houses will be a mix of two, three and four beds. The two-beds will be available later in the year.
The first of the second batch of houses will be completed by June, but they are now available to buy off-plan - and four have already been sold within days of going on the market.
Sharon Robinson, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Wales, said: “We are delighted to be launching this second phase of Martello Park.
“As expected, the first phase was extremely popular and our sales advisers were kept busy right from day one. We’ve seen a broad range of buyers, including those stepping onto the property ladder for the first time, upsizing families and downsizing retirees.
“Buying off-plan can be beneficial as it means people can reserve their preferred plot and personalise aspects of the property, including kitchen units and worktops, bathroom fittings, wall tiles and flooring.”
There are initiatives available to help house hunters secure their dream move, including the popular Help to Buy - Wales scheme.
Sharon said that more than 60 per cent of people buying with Persimmon in West Wales since the start of 2016 have used the initiative, which makes it possible to buy a new build house with just a five per cent deposit.
With Help to Buy, the Welsh Government provides an equity loan of up to 20 per cent, leaving a mortgage of just 75 per cent.
Martello Park is named after an old Martello Tower in Pembroke Dock, which is now a museum.
The three bedroom properties start at £129,995.
