The Mezin String Quartet gave a wonderful concert at St. Johns Church, Tenby, last week.
They presented a very well balanced programme that included works by Mozart, Schubert and Borodin.
"It is not often we have the opportunity to hear a string quartet and it is to be hoped that there will be more concerts by this group to follow," said the minister, Rev. Nanette Lewis-Head.
A large enthusiastic audience listened with rapture to the sound of the stringed instruments of viola, violin and 'cello being played by Rebecca Whitehurst, Joanne Underwood, James Walker and Kyle Patterson, all well-known local people involved in the musical life of the county.
"It was also wonderful to have so many young people in the audience, and during the interval when refreshments were provided by Mansel and Marlys Thomas, there was an opportunity for the audience and performers to mingle and share appreciation of an excellent musical evening," Rev. Lewis-Head added.
