More than 50 women and (one man!) from the Saundersfoot, Kilgetty and District branch gathered together at Hebron Baptist Church for the annual service, which was compiled this year by the Christian Women of Papua New Guinea.

In the absence of Mrs. Audrey Hilling (president), Mrs. Janet Standing, this year's leader, welcomed everyone to the service.

The readers were members of the WWDP committee and representatives of local churches. The organist was Mrs. Peggy Morgan.

An inspiring address on this year's theme, 'In Christ there are many members yet one body', was given by Dr. Pauline Paul. A collection for the work of the movement was taken up by church members, who also provided the flowers in the church.

Afterwards, gingerbread figures, Welsh cakes and cups of tea were served by the committee and ladies of the church. Thanks go to all who helped to make the afternoon such a success.
