A 64-year-old woman was taken to Withybush Hospital by ambulance on Sunday morning after she fell on a beach access path which descends the cliff to North Beach, Tenby.
The lady had fallen six-foot from an unguarded section of the zig-zagging path onto the seawall, sustaining suspected injuries to her ribs and back.
She was attended to by ambulance paramedics, before Tenby and Manorbier coastguard rescue teams evacuated the casualty from scene on a spinal board, transferring her along the beach in the coastguard vehicle and into the awaiting ambulance at Tenby harbour.
