A 55-year-old woman from Burry Port sustained an ankle injury to her right leg while walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path between Skrinkle and Lydstep on Wednesday morning.

Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team assisted the town's ambulance crew to evacuate her from a position leading down to Lydstep Caverns.

She was conveyed by ambulance to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, for assessment.
