Tenby and Manorbier Coastguard Rescue Teams assisted a woman who injured herself on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at Swan Lake Bay, Manorbier, last Wednesday.

The 40-year-old casualty, who had been walking on the path, was taken by ambulance to Withybush Hospital for treatment.

The coastguard advise that anyone wishing to walk the coast path and coastal areas should ensure that they wear the appropriate clothing for the wintry weather and, equally important, a pair of good quality walking boots, robust enough to handle the slippery and muddy terrain.
