Police are asking people to trace their minds back to March in a bid to identify witnesses to an alleged assault in Tenby. Sometime between 12.30 and 1 am on Sunday, March 18, the night of the Wales v England Six Nations rugby clash, the said serious assault occurred at the rugby club in Upper Frog Street. A male person received serious injuries to his face and head, including fractured cheek bone and eye socket and various cuts and bruises to the head area, causing large amounts of swelling. Police are asking anyone in the rugby club on that particular night to come forward with any information they may have. They are asked to contact PC437 Katy Griffiths at the town's police station on 0845 330 2000.
