From its earliest days as a World War II airfield, there has been flying activity at Withybush, Haverfordwest, for most of the last 80 years.

The long aviation connections of the former RAF Haverfordwest – now Haverfordwest Airport – will be charted at the July meeting of the Pembrokeshire Aviation Group.

Group founder member John Evans will give an illustrated talk entitled ‘Withybush on Wings’ on Tuesday, July 12, at Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre, Meyrick Owen Way, The Royal Dockyard, commencing at 7.30 pm.
