At the recent Inner Wheel District handover, Toni Lucas, of Tenby, retiring district chairman, thanked all the members of District 15 for the tremendous support she had received for her charity, Ty Hafan.

She announced that their efforts had raised £4,000, of which a cheque for £2,000 was presented to Phil Thomas, of Ty Hafan.

The rest of the money was used to establish a wishing well close to the entrance of the M4 services at Magor. It is hoped that this wishing well will be a legacy project that will generate funds for Ty Hafan for many years to come.
