An early colourised viewcard taken from Castle Hill shows, along the curve of Tenby's old pier, the precarious photographic studio attached to the back of Laston House, as well as a profusion of mature trees above North Walk and a harbour crammed full of sailing craft. You can even see the stack of a small paddle steamer.
