FOLLOWING last year's successful 'Artists Kites' workshop where 12 local artists worked with the kitemaker Steve Brockett over a weekend to design, build and fly a unique range of kites, an exhibition of the completed work was shown as part of 'Open Studios 2001' at the Stackpole Centre and went on tour around Pembrokeshire, visiting Pembrokeshire College and Theatr Mwldan.

This year 'Open Studios Artists Trust' is running a weekend workshop on the theme of 'Wind Driven Things' to be led by Steve Brockett and to take place at the Stackpole Centre on July 7 and 8. The resulting work will then have the opportunity to be exhibited at the 'Pembrokeshire Festival of the Sky' in August.
