There's plenty to smile about at Folly Farm this week, as resident clown Chunkie Russell celebrates 20 magical years in the clowning profession! Chunkie's colourful career began when he ran away with a circus at the age of 16, and he has never looked back. His popular clowning act took him around the UK, and on to Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Chunkie now appears to have settled down, and is happy in his role as resident clown at Folly Farm in Begelly. His acts over the years have always included spectacular magic, colourful costumes and Chunkie's own wicked brand of humour. His current show at Folly Farm is no exception. Says Chunkie: "This season's show is built upon my 20 years experience of entertaining everyone, from the ages of two to 92! There's more magic and mayhem than ever before and it's not just for children. I'd like to see more grandparents bringing the kiddies along, as the show is entertaining for everyone." When asked to reflect on his 20 years of clowning around, Chunkie has no regrets. "I still love the industry as much as ever. I've made over 100,000 balloon animals for children during my two years at Folly Farm, and over a million throughout my career and I've got no intention of stopping!" To celebrate a magical 20 years, Chunkie is giving away 20 family tickets to Folly Farm for the 20 best clown pictures he receives... so get creative, and win a ticket to Folly Farm to see Chunkie's fantastic show!
