Pembrokeshire Youth League leaders Whitland ran in nine tries in a convincing win away to Pembroke Dock Quins Youth. The match was won and lost in the first half when the visitors scored five tries. Centre Alex Pickersgill crossed twice, backed up by tries from winger Rhys Thomas, scrum-half Aled Rees and number eight Gavin Walsh. Centre James Stephenson converted three of the tries and outside-half Jonathan Thomas converted one to give the Borderers a lead of 33 points at the interval. For Johnny Thomas and Gavin Welsh, it was their second competitive game in two days as they both played for Crawshays' Youth team in a Good Friday fixture. There was more of the same in the second half when the Borderers extended the lead with four more tries. Alex Pickersgill completed a fine hat-trick, Jonathan Thomas scored a second try of the match and there were other tries from flanker Christian Isaacs and centre James Stephenson. Two of the tries were converted by James Stephenson and Alex Pickersgill, respectively. Pembroke Dock Quins crossed for one try by number eight Alex Pearce, which was converted by Neil Brae.
